Rainbow Pyrite

Rainbow pyrite has a startling array of bright golds, brassy coppers, blues, greens and rose hues. These color combinations were never before available in drusy, and have been said to resemble fancy color diamond melee.

Found along the banks of the Volga River in central Russia, rainbow pyrite is collected during the summer when the riverbanks are least muddy. This dynamic drusy is a metallic mineral; when set, its own metallic scintillation blends beautifully with all metals.
